In February 2025, the mobile outpatient clinic of the Kyiv MCCC provided almost 1,000 services

In February 2025, a multidisciplinary team from our mobile outpatient clinic made visits to seven settlements in Kyiv Oblast: Irpin, Bucha, Myronivka, Bohuslav, Kaharlyk, Borodianka and Nemishayevo. In total, the specialists provided 971 free and confidential services for testing and prevention of socially significant diseases to 450 residents of these communities:

  • HIV testing - 298 people;
  • screening for hepatitis B virus - 100 people (2 positive results);
  • screening for hepatitis C virus - 148 people (6 positive results);
  • Tuberculosis screening - 425 people (9 positive results).

In case of a positive test result, the person is referred to a family doctor with whom the declaration is signed, or offered to go to the nearest healthcare facility and sign a declaration with a family doctor for further examination and treatment.

In addition to the oral consultation, all visitors can receive printed information materials.

The multidisciplinary team consists of a coordinator from the Kyiv Oblast Clinical Epidemiological Centre, a nurse from the Dovira office and a social worker from an NGO providing prevention, care and support services to people living with HIV.

Wait for the mobile outpatient clinic in your hromada! We inform about the planned visits in Facebook.

The specialised vehicles for the regions were purchased as part of the cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria through UNICEF and equipped by the Public Health Centre.

The programme is aimed at reducing the level of socially significant infectious diseases in Ukraine and improving early detection of dangerous diseases, which will contribute to more effective treatment and reduce the risk of infection in communities.
