Health town in Novi Petrivtsi village 3.10.2024

As part of additional immunisation activities against pertussis, diphtheria and tetanus, on 3.10.2024, the Health Town visited the village of Novi Petrivtsi

At the initiative of the Kyiv Oblast Center for Primary Health Care of the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Department of Health of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Petrivka Village Council and Petrivka Primary Health Care Centre of Petrivka Village Council.

The event was attended by about 70 people. Visitors had the opportunity to get answers to questions about vaccination, get advice on preventing infectious diseases, and receive recommendations on mental health, cardiovascular disease and diabetes prevention (smoking cessation, healthy eating, physical activity, etc.).

In addition, the visitors of the event received a number of medical services, namely:
50 people received a consultation from a family doctor
50 people had their blood pressure measured
45 people had their body mass index measured
47 people had their blood sugar measured
15 people were vaccinated against diphtheria and tetanus
19 people were tested to determine the causative agents of respiratory infections

Upon request, citizens could receive handouts on healthy lifestyles
life and vaccination
