Health Town in Boyarka 2.12.2024 to mark World HIV/AIDS Day

On the occasion of the World HIV/AIDS Day - 2.12.2024, the "Town of Health" visited Boyarka

At the initiative of the Kyiv MCCC of the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Boyarka City Council and the Primary Health Care Centre of the Boyarka City Council.

The event was attended by about 90 people. Visitors had the opportunity to get answers to questions about vaccination, get advice on preventing infectious diseases, and receive recommendations on mental health, cardiovascular disease and diabetes prevention (smoking cessation, healthy eating, physical activity, etc.).

In addition, the visitors of the event received a number of medical services, namely:
40 people received a consultation from a family doctor
19 people had their blood pressure measured
29 people had their body mass index measured
14 people had their blood sugar measured
9 people had an ECG
20 people were tested for HIV, hepatitis B, C and syphilis
6 people were vaccinated against diphtheria and tetanus
6 people vaccinated against COVID-19
8 people were tested to determine the causative agents of respiratory infections

Upon request, citizens could receive handouts on healthy lifestyles
life and vaccination
