Vaccination calendar

Vaccination in Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the Vaccination Schedule, which was developed based on international experience, and today, if followed, it is the most optimal for ensuring full immunity. The calendar has been approved Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 551 of 11.08.2014 "On Improving Preventive Vaccinations in Ukraine".

Mandatory vaccinations are given from the first day of life:

  • Hepatitis B vaccination is given in the hospital on the first day after birth;
  • TB vaccination is given on the 3-5th day of a child's life;
  • at 2 months, the child receives the second vaccination against hepatitis B;
  • at 2 months of age, the first vaccination against pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, and Hib infection is given;
  • at 4 months of age, the second vaccination is given against pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, and Hib infection;
  • at 6 months of age, the third vaccination is given against pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, and hepatitis B;
  • at 12 months of age, vaccination against measles, mumps, rubella (1st dose) and revaccination against Hib infection;
  • at 18 months, the first routine revaccination against pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, and polio is given;
  • At the age of 6, children are vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella (2nd dose) and revaccinated against diphtheria, tetanus, and polio;
  • at the age of 14, they are revaccinated against polio;
  • at the age of 16, they are revaccinated against diphtheria and tetanus;
  • From the age of 26, every 10 years, they are revaccinated against diphtheria and tetanus.
