Authorised person for the prevention and detection of corruption

The main tasks of an authorised person include:

  1. Organising anti-corruption measures and monitoring compliance with anti-corruption legislation.
  2. Organisation of work on managing corruption risks in the institution's activities.
  3. Providing methodological and advisory assistance on anti-corruption legislation.
  4. Taking measures to identify conflicts of interest and facilitate their resolution.
  5. Checking the status of filing declarations and notifying the National Agency of cases of failure to file or late filing.
  6. Reviewing reports of violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption".
  7. Ensuring that whistleblower employees who report violations of anti-corruption legislation are protected from negative measures of influence by their manager or employer.
  8. Informing the head of the institution, the National Agency or other specially authorised entities in the field of anti-corruption about the facts of violation of anti-corruption legislation.

Report a corruption offence

In the State Institution Kyiv Regional Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Yulia Kozoliy was appointed as the authorised person for the prevention and detection of corruption.

The main tasks of the authorised person include organising anti-corruption measures to implement anti-corruption legislation; taking measures to identify conflicts of interest and facilitate their resolution; checking the status of filing declarations and notifying the National Agency of cases of failure to submit or late submission; informing the head of the institution and the National Agency of violations of anti-corruption legislation.

The State Institution "Kyiv Regional Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" shall ensure the receipt and consideration of reports from persons who report in good faith possible facts of corruption or corruption-related offences, other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption". Any employee, having a reasonable belief that the information is reliable, has the right to report a violation of the requirements of the Law on Prevention of Corruption by another person. Persons who provide assistance in preventing and combating corruption are protected by the state in accordance with applicable law.

You can leave a message, the information in which relates to a specific person and contains verifiable factual data, regarding employees of the structural units of the Kyiv MCCC of the Ministry of Health.

All reports are reviewed by the authorised person for the prevention and detection of corruption at the State Institution "Kyiv Regional Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" in accordance with the requirements of the law.

WARNING. A written notice shall be considered if such details are available:

  • name, surname, patronymic of the person who allegedly committed the offence, his/her position in the State Institution "Kyiv Central Centre of Epidemiology and Public Health";
  • the text of the message containing information about the facts of committing a corruption or corruption-related offence or other violation of the Law that can be verified;
  • name, surname, address and signature of the person who sent the message.

Please note that reports of a corruption offence submitted via e-mail to the Kyiv MCCC of the Ministry of Health must be sent with a scanned signature.
